Can't contradict you entirely, but those I am working with are more open to idea of decentralized economic models these days than they were just a couple of years ago. As for the rest of the gang, they all have a huge conflict of interest with Bitcoin so it's pretty obvious
Majority disregard crypto, although various influential economists fully support it. The only thing that can kill Bitcoin is the Bitcoin community. And that is still a very real possibility.
I've never met anyone who actually wants to kill bitcoin. So many in crypto have this weird enemy in their heads that they think they're up against, but I don't think that enemy is real.
