Bearish trends
June 1st. With the beginning of the new month, we continued to live in the established trends, suggesting that the Bearish scenario will become the main market model these times. Bitcoin’s price ranged around $7500.
June 11th. "It seems that we began to suspect something." Now market forecasts are very accurate, it is assumed that Bitcoin is moving to a new point, probably a stable 6k. Fresh 2018 lows are updated.
June 25th. We got Extreme Fear sentiment by looking at the Crypto Fear & Greed Index. “Extreme Fear” was relevant for the previous weeks, now it shows just Fear sentiments on the market.
June 29th. Bitcoin’s falls to early low. The trends that have been identified at the beginning of the month, were legitimately confirmed. Doing long-term forecasts, we did not notice how we dropped to $ 5,800.
… And what we can expect now? July 2nd. Local trends have probably frightened investors, so now the price return is defined as “Bull Reversal”. To be continued, as always. At this point, Bitcoin still holds the index of "fear", preventing the market from turning around.
↪️ Altcoins: projects, tokens and more (TOP-10)
>TRX<
June 1st – 25th. Rising star TRX (Tron) has triggered market by launching MainNet, and also a token migration. Justin Sun headed a vast community of investors and just believers who found their great ambitions in TRX.
From June 25th to our days. During the all month TRON was into TOP-10 currency chart list. Keeping this position very strongly, news announcements very glad to meet the token migration and blockchain launch. On June 25th, TRON’s mainnet was activated, so they called it “Independence Day”, TRX got a title of “Ethereum Killer”.
In the end, Tron left the TOP-10, delegated this place to Tether. We also noticed new partnerships with the giant Pornhub, buying Bittorrent announcement, and generally good preconditions from the project. Some crypto-members make predictions about partnership with Alibaba or other Asian whales.
>EOS<
EOS was also adopted very quickly and community started to make good news about it in a short time. But, what a resistance we had met! But, not without reason: it wasn’t launched for a long time than expected.
19 days ago and near this period many things were done for the project:
- EOS tokens frozen
- Mainnet launched
- Mainnet Activated!
June 6th, is a day when we finally got an update about new EOS constitution. EOS already then were under a people's flame, and discontent, as if expectations were very high.
To know more about project’s life and development, read the EOS official twitter. This time, EOS is 5-th large cryptocurrency on the market, dealing with $8,92 price (at the moment of writing). Daniel Larimer, CTO of EOS, is well-known by his DPOS algorithm, and also a bright view of future, so, it’s still interesting to watch him and EOS at all.
>XRP<
Being one of the most promising alternative currencies, Ripple has won the attention not only from a dedicated community, but also of more skeptical partners and investors. However, even the strong Ripple could not resist the general sentiment of fearing investment sector.
June 20th – present time. 2-nd part of June is a long time for Ripple when they’re asked to be added on Coinbase. But, something went wrong and there was no decision to add XRP, and continue to integrate this to other markets.
⚖️ Law and Crime
Quite a lot of investors are concerned about the regulation of the crypto-currencies existing on the market. New tax and general laws controls the behavior of investors, traders, as well as of cryptocurrency projects and companies.
June 11th. On the wave of new regulation norms, it was declared that crypto regulation is a top priority for world governments. Along with the complication of regulation, many states also become loyal to the introduction of state blockchain-based systems.
Coinrail, not-so-big cryptocurrency exchange is hacked, and this is a red flag for market. South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Bithumb is hacked too. (To know more, read the post). With this, the fear about other projects and exchanges is increasing. Such thing as Bitcoin phishing, fake wallet addresses, and more hacks are worldwide. ZenCash has become a victim of 51% attack and loses about $500k.
Bithumb opened a program for users whose funds were stolen. Already recovered half of the last attack’s losses.
