Agree 100%, and am now investing each month into a selection.

Having said that I don't think mainstream stock ownership is going away anytime soon and that comprises by far the biggest % of what I have - I use that to generate income selling put options - details on my blog.

Any thoughts on specific coins?

    I really like BTC and ETH in terms of market adoption. I see these as relatively safe bets. In terms of potential growth and strategic positioning I really like OMG and IOTA. But man there are so many more! I am learning all the time so feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks for the support!

    I too am very new at this and also technically fairly illiterate, which doesn't help

    I own BTC, figure you have to, will buy some each month. Also have IOTA, EOS, BTS, Steem obviously, and SIA. Am thinking about throwing a bit of money into a few very low cap speculative ones too - mostly for fun rather than any real expectation

    Would like to pick up some Stratis and BAT before they run away
