Interesting interview. Didn't think about it like that yet: all these areas where people are cut out of the process, self driving cars, currencies that can be owned by machines etc.. Society is going to change indeed!

Cryptocurrencies are absolutely amazing.
Having your money in a decentralised store where the state cannot regulate or monitor imposing regulations on you is the way forward.
The only fear I have is that we have also seen the SECs attempt to get some sort of control in the sector by administering new ICOs in the blockchain.
Let's hope this doesn't spill into anything more sinister
Bitcoin will replace the entire bank system.
Super-Bitcoin, the thing that will replace bitcoin, will replace the entire financial sector including insurance.
What is the use of a bank when the only thing it will provide is a impediment between you and your money?

Banks will continue to play a role in the economy. But less as creators of credit out of thin air. So banking will become less profitable and much duller, unless they canure the public in their own 'from thin air coins'.
I don't see it at all. There is no bank service that I can think of that I wouldn't pay money to avoid.
Loans? So much easier to go with crowdsourcing.
Money transfers? already on the blockchain
Escrow? sorta on the blockchain / will be solid soon.
Investment service? Do you still have any trust in a bank?
Home loans? This will be the biggest shift. As in house prices will fall to $0.
ATM? Right up till the time bitcoin breaks the physical/electronic barrier
I'm not seeing any need for a bank. What other service can they provide?

I'll second that! @hilarski - I certainly hope that "Bitcoin will change the world", like I'm sure most of us here, the big question is which version of Bitcoin is it going to be?! @oaldamster believes at least one of them will continue to remain strong - in the recent post which I resteemed (https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@oaldamster/the-bitcoin-run).
However, I watched @boxmining 's recent video where he expresses uncertainty over the future of Bitcoin due to the fork's inherent complexity. Having several versions of Bitcoin makes understanding - and investing in BTC more complex for potential new investors coming to join the party.
I'm really not sure to be honest, although I pray that BTC in some form continues to thrive since I just made a huge investment in it (which I wrote about here > https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@jobsande/woah-bitcoin-gaining-ground-lesson-1-never-try-to-time-the-market).
Those who don't invest in cryptos will be sorry in the future !

I think bitcoin is going to get to an unexpected high value in the next 2 or 3 years maybe 10 times the value it is now.
It must if it is to succeed. I consider Bitcoin an all or nothing proposition. It either goes sky high or will linger to practically nothing.
for all I know about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies that they're gonna reshape the economic world , am waiting on fire to the time when banks became an old fashion so there's no intermediate organization between us and our money .

I'm sure it's not a coincidence that bitcoin was launched in 2009, only a year after the 2008 financial crisis that was caused by the greed of banks!
I strongly believe not only Bitcoin but the techs behind it will change our entire economy system soon.
I like the freedom that bitcoin and cryptos brings to the masses. The thought that I can send money to a friend on the other side of the world instantly; without having to do an expensive bank transfer or western union is amazing :)
I'm kinda afraid of Hackers like in watch dogs 2...If the world just changes to crypto currency totally, you could just be hacked and instantly lose all of your money. Kinda scary, but again crypto currency is very interesting ,and cool!

The fiat money is nonsense compare to crypto currency. It is control by single individual or organization. Fiat money is a symbol of modern slavery. While BTC means freedom
Simply currency that is based on a stable issue mechamism with a trusted ledger, all within a tiny package free from centralised control and absolutely permissionless.
This idea is not going away soon.

I do not know much about crypto currency yet ... but looking at its development, it has dominated the world. His buying and selling statistics increased dramatically.
I have the same feeling about it, but no yet. We have to be patient, it's not done in one week. We will gradually make our way.
I LOVE THIS QUOTE! All I'm worried about is the 47 individuals that own 30% of BTC. Am I the only one that thinks that it is dangerous for an everyday user, because I'm slighty worried about that at the end the rich will always be superior to the average hardworking human of this earth?
