I bought 250k verge in june for 200 sat, i sold 200k and kept 50k for long term. my current balance is more than the price i bought the entire 250k since the brice of BTC is always flyin. I bought more when @heajin recommended us to ladder in. For me now is not the time to sell......lets go |$5

I actually started mining Verge today. I have a GTX 1080 TI. Had it running for exactly an hour and it has gotten me 8 coins.
back when I started, I mined about 1400 in 1 week. Now It's closer to like 10 a day for me.

No one seems to be talking about the wallet on the site, i'm i the only one that is having problems loading it? jsut keeps on crashing. As much as i dont like keeping money on exchanges, i rather do that than have a fault wallet.
As much as i love the coin, the tech needs alot of work to get to even a dollar.
Patience. Verge QT wallet is very slow to load.
Go to the verge discord or reddit and ask for help. I believe you need to load tor on your computer before downloading the wallet(try that first). I'm pretty sure thats what solved my problem, but that was many months ago and I have short term memory issues sometimes. Verge community is large, helpful and full of hodlers, so the price should hold well.
I enjoy your charting and predictions, but I am surprised that you calculate your profits/targets in alts in fiat instead of BTC.
I prefer it that way tbh, when I buy I generally buy LTC for cash on bitstamp, move it to another exchange and convert it to whatever coin I'm buying. I record the price in Euro, based on what I paid for the LTC and any difference I just consider fees.
I also think vs BTC is much better.
I've been hodling XVG for 6 months! I love VERGE! My baby! I know we extended pretty nice on this impulse, but I am continuing to hold. Wraith should be coming out soon. Hoping to see $1 in 2018-2019

I been holding for 6 months too and i think now is not the time to sell. though i have some saved for long time and also trading some.
Verge QT wallet is notoriously slow to load and restart. Once running, the wallet is fantastic.
I have tried installing both the Electrum and QT desktop wallets for Mac, both unsuccessfully. Any advice?

Binance is pretty easy for me. You don't have to verify any identity if your just going to exchange. You can transfer bitcoin from coinbase or another place straight to binance, and then trade the bitcoin for verge.

As a miner, I find Elliot Waves a fantastic tool to know WHEN to start mining a mineable coin. During a triangle phase the difficulty goes down, thus easier to mine with more output of coins. I'm studying EWs now, and there is a LOT to know and I find it fascinating. Thx HJ for making EW interesting.

XVG was crazy today hitting highs many times. It was good for day-traders.. TRX had a similar day today. Both are to be careful with now I guess.. Like @haejin said.. now it's really unpredictable. If you can/know try 'riding' the waves but be careful doing so.
