Great post, I am very interested to know how Bitcoins adoption compares to US or Canada. I lived in Mexico half of my life and I know how people are savvy about using some things very early as long as they have a need for it. The Peso is actually very volatile against the Dollar so I could see people being ok with the ups and downs in price.

Here in Cancun crypto is really catching on. There are weekly meetups for Bitcoin, Dash, Smartcoin, Ethereum, Pivx, and Steemit.
Remittances are huge in Mexico and crypto makes it so easier, faster, and cheaper to do that. Plus, Mexico’s bill to regulate cryptocurrency exchanges has been approved by the country’s lower house of Congress and is now awaiting the signature of President Enrique Pena Nieto to become law.
More than half the population here is unbanked here but 80% of the population have cell phones so crypto just makes sense to them.
