Bitstamp: Bitcoin Exchange wants to attract institutional investors

Bitstamp, one of the largest Bitcoin exchanges, wants to attract more (and especially larger) investors in the future. In this context, the operators of the stock exchange have decided to use a technology in future to make the processes on the stock exchange more transparent.

One of the most promising bitcoin bull narrative are the institutional investors. They should flush the big money into the Bitcoin ecosystem. But one thing that still holds them back according to the same narrative: the lack of security. On the one hand, it is the Bitcoin exchanges that still do not have enough trustworthiness. Lack of security and morally flexible personnel are certainly the biggest obstacles. The other side is the lack of regulatory security. A lion's share of government agencies still do not know how to handle the new financial technology Bitcoin and all its offspring.

New system should bring the big money

Bitstamp now wants to counter these problems. To that end, Nejc Kodric, CEO of the company, based in Luxembourg, announced:

"We are committed to crypto in the long run. We want to ensure that market data is both genuine and transparent to help the industry grow. "

As can be seen from the Twitter post, the Blockchain company joined forces with Irisium. The company offers software solutions for monitoring trading activities. With the use of the software Bitstamp is to ensure ultimately that it does not come to market manipulations. In addition, Irisium offers according to own data the possibility to publish the analysis results. As a result, regulators can ultimately verify if things are right on the Bitcoin Exchange.

Questionable figures are not uncommon

Reasons that discourage institutional investors continue to provide the crypto universe with confidence. First and foremost, remember the most probable crypto-scam around the as yet unexplained Mt.Gox. It kicked off a series of questionable blockchain actions. Recently Bitfinex caused quite a stir here. In this country, it is still the Causa Envion, which puts a shadow on the security image of the scene.
