Platio offers an all-in-one platform for cryptocurrencies, fiduciary currencies and shares
The company seeks to "tokenize" assets and change the way transactions are performed
Platio, a fintech firm based in London, is developing its smart banking ecosystem to offer new solutions to the main challenges of the cryptographic world. One of these challenges has to do with the differences that have arisen, in some countries, between the exchange houses and the traditional banking system, which has become very selective when providing services to users of cryptocurrencies.
In situations like these, the Platio system emerges as an alternative, as the company has developed a smart banking platform, all in one, for cryptocurrencies, fiduciary currencies and shares, with the backing of the EOS blockchain technology. In this way, the system offers users a secure and convenient way to manage transactions and combine traditional finance with digital finance.
In this sense, Platio has a legal authorization that allows it to function, at the same time, as part of the banking system and the cryptocurrency sector of the United Kingdom and the European Union. Therefore, users can jointly manage their fiat assets, cryptocurrencies and shares, from a single platform.
As stated on its official website, one of the objectives of this system is to increase confidence in cryptocurrencies as digital assets and promote their global adoption. In this way, Platio's commercial services allow sellers who so wish to receive payment in fiat currency, even if the buyer has paid in cryptoactives, freeing sellers of the risks associated with the volatility of the cryptoactive market.
With this new system, the company seeks to "tokenize" the assets, as a way to innovate the way in which financial transactions are currently carried out. On this, the general director of Platio, Dima Okhrimchuk, expresses his confidence that, soon, all the financial assets will be tokenized and executed in blockchain networks, which, in his opinion, will be equivalent to a revolution that will completely transform the financial system international.
As part of these changes, the company also wants to facilitate cross-border payments, and for this it recently partnered with Ripple. The idea is, according to the white document (whitepaper) of Platio, to offer payment and remittance services. The document declares the following:
"En el Ecosistema Platio, todos los activos criptográficos y fiat soportados pueden funcionar como un medio de pago utilizando SWIFT / SEPA / Ripple, incluidos pagos de terceros e internacionales. Los pagos que se realicen convirtiendo criptomoneda a fiat se ejecutarán con la ayuda de un intercambio automático integrado. De esta manera el destinatario del pago puede recibir fiat incluso cuando el otro usuario inicia el pago en criptomoneda."

MAIN PRODUCTS
Among the most important innovations developed by the company are its Smart Escrow and Asset Guard products, both based on the characteristics of intelligent contracts.
Smart Escrow allows transactions using cryptocurrencies, especially in high value agreements. This product keeps the funds of the buyers in custody until both parties are satisfied with the agreement. In case of any dispute, Platio intervenes to arbitrate.
With Asset Guard Platio provides protection against volatility, making it easier for customers to set up their accounts to perform automatic transactions, in case the securities, actions or crypto markets behave in predefined ways. The service also provides a solution to the problem of the loss of private keys, since if users do not interact with their accounts during a preselected period, Platio transfers its assets to an account previously nominated in cryptocurrency or fiat. Thus, users do not lose access to their funds.
