in #bitcoin6 years ago

One of the leading academic institutions of economic sciences in the world, the London School of Economics, will start offering an online course that will last six weeks, called "investment and cryptocurrency disorder".

In this way the economics school of London joins a growing list of prestigious university institutions worldwide such as Cambridge, NYU, Standford, among others, which are beginning to offer courses focused on the market of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.

The course, which will begin in the summer, will last six weeks with an academic load of seven to ten hours per week led by Dr. Carsten Sørensen, associate professor of innovation and information systems. It will have a value of £ 1,800 (just over USD $ 2,350) and upon completion of the course you will obtain a certification that will be supported by the continuous personal development service or CPD of the United Kingdom.

The institution states that "for more than a hundred years, the motto of LSE has been 'understanding the causes of things'. This certified online course connects practical knowledge of digital assets with theoretical leadership thinking for which LSE is recognized. " The course that does not have any type of prerequisite to be taken will address topics such as practical investment skills, how to interact with cryptocurrency exchanges, how to use a wallet, and how to evaluate the analytics of an ICO.

In a broader way, the course will try to teach students to explore how crypto currencies will condition the future of money, markets and industries locally and globally. The institution also added that the course is designed to provide the student with information, knowledge and frameworks of the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency necessary to understand how they operate and their implementation for business and the economy.
