HODL Experiment - Day 2 of 365 - Getting Free Coins Without Mining

I posted my own challenge two days ago What If I HODL for 365 Days and posted some basic rules to follow.

1. I cannot spend more then $1000 USD.
2. I cannot sell any coin back to BTC once I buy it.
3. Mining is permitted (no ASICs, just my computers available to me at home.)

Since I'm going to be HODL'ing coins, Im looking for gaining a larger quantity of coins that I can speculate will increase in value. My first thought? Sia. Love the project, the guys behind it are super-smart. But I also didn't want to burn though all my cash in one quick go.

Currently my Mining rig contains a 1060 6GB and a 960 2GB. If I wanted to mine Sia I would gain in or around 110 SC a day... Yes, I know this is not the most profitable coin to mine, but the rules state I cannot hold a coin and sell back to BTC

BUT... I found a better WAY, and it PAYS.

I came across EarnCrypto Which is some site where you can do surveys and app playing for crypto... Actually pays decently. But I didn't really wanna do surveys. There is a tab in the earning dropdown in the site to "Watch Video"... Well heck, I'd do that! (If you want to spend time doing simple surveys, they pay pretty decently too for your time.)

So had those videos running, and was earning a good amount of SC. A really good amount. In one day with watching videos 240 SC. And at the time of writing, I have another 276.2 SC which I will be withdrawing shortly.

As you can see above, it actually pays too. Took about 36 Hours for a payout, but its still a payout!

In Other Related News

I have my mining rig pointed to NiceHash and currently earning 0.0004-0.0007 BTC per day. I was mining here before this challenge, so I will be evaluating other coins when I get my payout September 1st. I will send an update with what I choose next!

September 1st I will be buying my first round of coins, What do you think I should hold?
