Got today my new iMac including a second 5k screen. That is so cool - I really like it. The old iMac (to the left) is supposed to just stay as long as it needs to get the new one running stable but I start thinking to leave him right where he is. That is so cool to have everything directly in sight ...!
How is your desk looking?

Wow.. :D Mein Arbeitstisch ist nicht existent, will heissen, dass ich manchmal auf dem Küchentisch arbeite oder wie jetzt auf der Couch, je nach dem wo es mich hinschlägt. Für so eine Einrichtung fehlt es mir momentan noch am nötigen Kleingeld :P

Ja, da hast du wohl recht. Ich meine ich bin 22 Jahre alt, da kann man nicht erwarten, die gleiche finanzielle Unabhängigkeit erreicht zu haben wie jemand, der wohlmöglich schon sein halbes Leben daran arbeitet!

I am a broadcast engineer. 5k is just a way to get 5k out of your pocket for something that isn't real :(
I can imagine it is true for TV and stuff - but for computer? Why you think that?
Well, I haven't checked if there a video cards that make 5k (there probably are), there just aren't any true 5k sources. There are barely 4k sources at the moment.
I bet it looks tits though :). Just because they do a bit of false advertising (as resolution folks have for the last 10 years) doesn't mean it isn't the best one around!
I love the set up! I am currently working primarily from a laptop and/or one monitor - I'm saving up for the Micrsoft Surface Studio and one new 4K monitor. I can't compare to two 5K screens though!

A few years ago, this was the setup for playing (practicing) racing simulations. The only thing missing is the steering wheel, which indeed would be perfect to adjust the actual btc Course as well :-D

Thanks - you are one of those who made me buy the new iMac. For the overview it is really necessary to have parallel screens and the "old" iMac is just a temp thing - I felt it is so awesome to see the 3 screens but I will sell my old one of course.

I advise you to switch both tradingview and CMC to the night mode, you will burn your eyes and monitors like that
Thanks - I really appreciate it. You are right already today I feel like everything is to bright and not so good for the eyes - it is like your personal supernova right on your desk. Will try night mode and reduce brightness....
My desk is looking very much way to devoid of anything Apple related unfortunately ... one day I will be able to get a brand spanking new iMac + macbook pro ... I **WILL it !
Triple screen is also something I would love to have. If there's no need to get rid of the old iMac, leave it and use it.

Reminds me of the setup I had when I used to play midstakes-poker to pay for my studies..
Now a MBP15' is enough - But a iMac PRO is still the dream - but a quite expensive one! When STEEM is at 10 or 15$, I will start to think about it :D

I just got myself a 22 inch full HD monitor for video editing. Was planning on 4K but it can wait.
