I see Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash each pursuing their own paths as a net-gain for the community as a whole. Instead of impeding one another, each side can pursue their own path in earnest and advance faster as a result. For this reason, I support the Bitcoin Cash effort even if I don’t believe it will prove most valuable longer-term. It’s very possible that there’s a real place in the market for both.
