This is against everything cryptocurrencies were built for! We shiuld fight this the same way NRA fights for gun rights. Well personally i am not planning to travel to usa anytime soon but i sympathize with those who have plans to.

Why fight it? It's totally unenforceable. It's pretty funny that they even think this - it demonstrates complete ignorance of how crypto works. You could write down a wallet seed, or you could just encrypt your keys and store them on the cloud. Or even just your email.
