Scanning through Twitter this morning for crypto news, I was shocked to find out that Blockstream CTO, Greg Maxwell has resigned from Blockstream, the company he co-founded.
Well, he knows that Blockstream have destroyed bitcoin and so he decided to quit.
Blockstream totally changed the idealogy of Bitcoin for selfish reasons.
Thanks to Bitcoin Cash (which is the real bitcoin in anyway)
The most obviously bizarre thing in all of this is that Greg is resigning from Blockstream because he wants to focus more on Bitcoin.
He wants to focus more on the real Bitcoin - Bitcoin Cash and not Bitcoin Core.
Sadly, I hope all the Bitcoin Core fans see this signs on the wall and take the right decision.
Advice: Don't let greed cloud your judgement.
Remember what made you to love bitcoin and why that thing has suddenly changed because of Blockstream
Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin Segwit, call it whatever you want, but the fact remains that it is the REAL Bitcoin. The decntralized community of users decided this with UASF and NO2X last year. BCash is a Chinese knock-off scam of the real Bitcoin which attempts to subvert the real Bitcoin and steal its name. Blockstream didn't destroy Bitcoin (which is a fallacy itself), because it was never theirs to destroy, and they have never had the power over Bitcoin that the haters claim.
Increasing block sizes is not a sustainable solution. It only makes the system more centralized in the long run. 8mb is okay but as the block size gets bigger and bigger, it becomes harder to sustain full nodes and as a result number of people who have full nodes decrease. So no, making block sizes bigger is the easy way to go but not the ultimate solution. If you are in for a centralized solution keep supporting Bitcoin Cash.
