Just a simple guide for people new to buying BitCoin or other cryptocurrency in Australia via Coinspot.
1 -- Register at www.coinspot.com.au
2 -- Verify your account. Go to Account -> Settings -> Verification & add/upload the required information to confirm your ID. This took about a week for me & I had to re-upload my photo a few times as it wasn’t as required, so pay attention to the instructions!
3 -- Deposit funds from your bank account. Go to Dashboard -> Deposit Funds :
You can choose to deposit via POLI, BPAY or Cash Deposit. (For more info on POLI see https://www.polipayments.com/). POLI is the quickest & free.
4 -- Buy BitCoin, once your funds are cleared. Go to Buy -> Bitcoin. You can also choose to buy any other altcoin available on Coinspot, i.e. Ethereum, Dash etc
5 -- You have now bought BitCoin (BTC) which you can see & monitor in your Coinspot BitCoin Wallet. :-)
