Money is what we allow it to be. The value of Bitcoin is what people choose it to be.
If you allow a private central bank (ex. Fed Reserve) to issue and take care of your money, thats your choice.
Personally, I would much rather prefer a means of exchange that is 100% owned and controlled by myself.
Crypto fills the trust gap. It allows eliminates the need for trust. All that we as users care about is the outcome of our exchanges, which is secured by the protocol.
I'm not suggesting that we should eliminate fiat currency, I'm simply advocating for financial independence for all individuals.
