Long-term. Blockchain technology is here to stay and will grow as long as demand is growing! Short-Term investors, however, will not gain much as they get shaken out of their coins quickly.

You have to choose the correct coins to survive long term too. Just having any coin will not do for 2018
now that is the hard part!
