Get Ready for an Explosion
Many market observers expect crypto markets to have high and sharp (up and down) peaks this year compared to 2017.
A few weeks ago, bitcoin traded at more than $ 20,000, and at the end of 2017 the price dropped to about $ 11,100. This was followed by a rebound again, with bitcoin reaching $ 15,500 on Saturday.
Meltem Demirors, director of Digital Currency Group, an investment company that invests in crypto-blockchain currencies and companies, believes that a new momentum is coming when the bouns season arrives in Wall Street.
"When Wall Street bonus reach bank accounts on January 15, I imagine we will see a buy order of crypto purchases of epic proportions," wrote Demirors on Twitter earlier this year.
'Get ready for an explosion'
The traditional start of the year is a time when Wall Street traders can influence their bond payments, as many traders bet on their extra income.
The bouns in mid-January probably reached about $ 1,38,000, as can be seen from the calculations of the New York State Comptroller, Thomas DiNapoli.
Twenty years ago, The New York Times wrote about car dealers in New York who benefited significantly from Wall Street bonus.
"They are young and aggressive people who can make spontaneous decisions", the newspaper quoted a car salesman who said at that moment. "They come to see what's in the inventory and when they receive their bonus checks: bingo."
In 2018, the crypto market could be boosted by Wall Street bonus.
"Young people have looked from the side, put a few thousand down here, a few hundred there", Demirors told Business Insider Deutschland. "The bonus season and the tax credits mean a lot of money for cryptography."
"Prepare yourself for an explosion.
