Why I Signed the Declaration of Currency Independence - Essay Series #005 - Future in our Hands Edition

in #bitcoin6 years ago

First and foremost, I signed the Declaration of Currency Independence by adding my name to an invaluable, immutable, and trustless distributed ledger; that in return can add value to the future of transferring power and value, and will ultimately allow people to be valued for their input.

As students of life and manufactured thoughts, we are brainwashed to believe that 'sovereign entities' are a 'necessity' to the correct functioning of society; but what appears to be our current reality, is a mere illusion generated by those 'sovereign entities', to execute control over the masses with a dependent currency, namely fiat.

This traditional form of currency was invented many centuries ago… And centuries ago it was a more feasible currency in comparison to commodities with no intrinsic value. However it has led to the deterioration of equality and liberty; allowing the notion of sovereignty and the omnipotent entity to be manifested into an actual reality.

In a digitalised universe where we are surrounded by technological advancements, with AI being at the centre of our futuristic digitalised future, we need to diminish this old fashioned and outdated currency dependent on the powerful entity and think about accountability, value and our privacy.

Blockchain technology allows for value and power to be transferred from tyrannical centralised entities, to people of all classes, who are the masses. It eliminates the role and existence of the middlemen and incorporates a consensus mechanism, that not only applies to financial transactions but anything of value.

By signing the declaration, I am not only placing Blockchain at the core of our future to offer efficiency, accountability, liberty, security and privacy; I am placing people back in control of their work and assets; and allowing more people (regardless of gender, age, class and employment status) to be part of this revolution.

This will enable us to regain audacity and pass our contemporary teachings and independent currency to the children of our children and many generations to follow, something our ancestors could not do due to lack of resources. But what excuses do we have?

The future is in our hands and by signing the declaration, I can let my voice be heard, as I see the value of the declaration as a decentralised and truly democratic election. This may be my only chance to vote on the Blockchain, for the Blockchain… To eliminate the notion of ‘sovereign entities’ by implementing an independent currency.
