I would imagine that a lot of people that knew about bitcoin, but didn't want to get into the market for fear of being too late, have been buying with both hands on these declines.
This would partially account for the surge of active addresses.

I think it was probably the bottom. The two questions i'm interested in are: Do we go sideways for awhile before a big uptrend, or a big fast recovery?
Will altcoins lag as bitcoin rises, or will enough money and interest in the entire crypto space make all coins surge at once?

I think we might still have some weak hands around that will keep the price down, so probably sideways for a while until whales decide to jump in once we get some good news such as Coinbase adopting Segwit and more advances on the Lightning Network. Tether would be a Black Swan lurking also, gotta keep an eye on that one. regards!

This is really a great news after s much depression. We all were depresed at this huge dip. Finally, good news arrived to satisfy.

Fortunately Bitcoin is back on the track :). But also I Think Z Cash or Ethereum are gonna rule 2018. Lite coin is also predicted to hit 20k in 2 years.

I have a hunch that meeting today could be the positive news we needed to see the reversal. Certainly seems to have impacted the market very positively so far. Can't believe I'm actually excited to see 7.7K haha.
I disagree personally, until we see a breakout of the downtrend. We're still below the moving averages, and we're still not even halfway up yesterday's red candle. However there is some optimism, with the Senate hearing today ... hopefully we can establish an upward trend

Crypto/BTC is a great way.The earliest way to get rich and not just make money with crypyo is to buy BTC and hold for year or two..........
