The number one mistake I have made for the past 4 years was to underestimate bitcoin. I mean, the technology is slow, expensive, can't upgrade without forking and consumes more energy per transaction than your house for an entire week.
Even with all of those flaws, today, it reached $10,000 per unit.
At the beginning of the summer I had 3 bitcoin which I decided to sell when there was a massive spike to 5600 expecting a major pull back...but instead here what happened.
Call me stupid but I'm still waiting for the major pullback...

I feel every bit of this post but I feel like it’s still not late yet because the predictions for 2018 rage around 20-30K better to get in now then miss out

I am right there with you. I keep thinking about how much more wealth I'd have if I had bought Bitcoin with the $500 per month I put into my retirement savings account in 2017, even with stock market highs!
You must be kicking yourself. My son gave me a certificate for a partial BTC for my birthday. I knew nothing about it, and am still a bit vague about understanding it all, but I do know that my small amount of funds have doubled!
Hey man join the club - I started mining bitcoin in 2012 and stopped after a while because it didn't seem worth it with bitcoins being worth about $10 at the time! Then i ended up selling the few BTC I made at around $300 which I thought was an amazing deal.

Anyway I bought back in around $4,000 and recently have a good bit more money available to invest...really really hoping for a big pullback!

i think it is not likely to happen the major pullback now but we might see a retracement, it is already touching the 10k mark and the way it is growing many new users are creating wallets in coinbase and also converting their fiat into bitcoins regularly i think it all happens due to the trust and the oldest block chain present on the internet, the peoples have more trust on bitcoin protocol then any other protocol i think bitcoin growth proves that old is always gold but don't worry my friend you have steem and i think it is far far better than bitcoin, Stay happy.

Yep. Markets seem to always go higher than you ever expect, and always drop further than you can imagine. Just be happy you aren't someone living in an alternate reality nightmare where they bought at 10K and it dropped to 3K (I'm not making a prediction, just an example).
At the end of the day you gained, not everyone can say that. I know someone who sold all of his 10 bitcoins for 800 dollars each last year. His Facebook post made me cry.

I've been waiting since May to buy more btc and I think I'll keep waiting. Even so, they are great news that is causing many people to join the crypto world.
You might have detected concerning this bitcoin thing; it’s been within the news lots. one thing to try to with it passing $8,000…no $9,000…no, $10,000…no, wait, wherever area unit we have a tendency to now? It’s laborious to stay pace. nobody is aware of wherever bitcoin are each day, week, or the year from currently, however, at this moment in time, bitcoin is greater than the subsequent things.
LOL. I mined 1050 btc when that was still possible on moderately spiffy home-rigs. If only my crystal-ball had lead me true on how to handle them!

No, it's awful. I extracted like $3000 in USD from the system, lost a now-staggering amount in the mtgox collapse and have like 3.5 of them left. But hey, live and learn!
I think bitcoin will be the prime holder of wealth, kinda like gold. I’m looking at other coins as the currency to buy stuff, kinda like silver. My husband and I own a few bitcoin 😁🍿
It's still an unwise move to invest in. If you were to put it in for example BTS a month ago you tripled your money by now. And that major fallback is bound to happen sooner or later...

All the stories I have seen here on this post seem to be of the type of pretend traders, not following the market.

McAffee is correct. Bitcoin will hit $500,000 a coin. All that needs to happen is that any of the large investors actually get a path into bitcoin. It is almost guaranteed to happen. Thing of your losses in that light.
Check out Bitcoin Service Inc if you have an IRA or personal account that you use for trading stocks. I bought BTSC a couple months back when it was at .07. Now after the Non Split in November, the stock has been climbing along with the growth of the coin. It is currently at .42.

You're stupid. Never sell crypto unless you need cash to pay your bills. You always loose with trading. At least that's my experience so far.
I am definitely feeling this pain and am starting to keep some liquid SBD and Steem in hopes that this will happen. Don't want to hold too much on here until the steem wallet is released though.
