Bitcoin DUMPING -> Litecoin PUMPING - What Are You Gonna Do?

in #bitcoin7 years ago

You may have noticed the recent downtrend of BTC. The upcoming Segwit, Sewgwit2x, UASF, etc. activation questions on August 1st are getting a lot of people worried. Litecoin on the other side has probably didn't cause it's holders that much of a headache as it's been one of the most stable crypto's of the top 10 cryptos with the largest market cap.

Here's the 7 day graph of Bitcoin:

As you can see, the closer the we get to August 1st the more people tend to panic thus driving the price to the bottom.

And here is the 7 day graph of Litecoin:

Litecoin which has forked from Bitcoin back in 2011 (bet you didn't know that), is managing to stay quite stable since some people seem to put their money into LTC or trade their BTC into LTC, to stop the price drop. They'll probably switch their LTC back to BTC right before August 1st to collect both Bitcoins that are going to be created out of the hardfork - IF a fork is going to happen - or simply to sell their BTC if the price of BTC would shoot to the moon.

Dr Julian Hosp, a German crypto-enthusiast and analyst and co-founder of TenX - the credit card making it possible to pay with your cryptos - is even going that far to say that once Segwit gets activated, the price of BTC could easily go up to $5000...in a matter of hours. Maybe, maybe not, no one can tell that for sure.

So what are you going to do?
Sell your Bitcoin to fiat currency like Dollar?
Trade your Bitcoin for LTC?
Trade your Bitcoin for ETH or any other crypto?
Just HODL to your BTC?

i am going to invest in Chaincoin because it showed itself to be resillient to crashes and is backed up by community of people willing to help each other by never selling the coin. Visit http://chaincoinhodlers.com/

I am holding fiat until August 1 and likely grabbing up LTC. Good point about people swapping LTC for BTC at the same time. But I agree LTC is about the best Haven after fiat before after the big fork. Yes I said it. Ideologues vs money. Neither will compromise.

still on the fence about what to do with my BTC. I don't have a lot invested in BTC just yet, but maybe I just ride through Aug 1st with it and see what happens.
