I checked 2 exchanges and they show bitcoin at 2490$. Don't know what's wrong with coinmarketcap. Another thing, coinbase.com is online, so good indicator that 2000$ figure is wrong.

Looks to be isolated to coinmarketcap... Very suspicious!
coincap.io shows a -20% with a btc=2500$ . something wrong with their numbers
