Telegram plans to launch its own crypto?

In the beginning of the current year, some of the online media reports have been talking about the plans of Telegram to launch its own cryptocurrency. The news about third-generation Blockchain platform from Telegram was also appearing.

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov has confirmed, that widely announced Gram ICO is a scam. He has warned users to be careful, following the fake emails some of the Telegram users were receiving.

Following the fake emails, many users got interested in the opportunity to invest in the Gram ICO. 💵In fact, the scamsters have been offering users the Gram cryptocurrency at a price of 15 cents for coin.

The official representatives of the Telegram have denied the Gram ICO project. Pavel Durov, the CEO of the Telegram has tweeted earlier in December 2017:

Attention: Telegram publishes its official announcements only at https://telegram.org . Everything else is most likely scam.

The criminals also reportedly have urged all those interested in the offer to visit the fake project’s website. The website was launched by anonymous users on January 6, 2018, according to the service of registration domain names.
