There’s a tweet that caught our attention recently. Crypto Bobby writes, ‘I’d venture to say overall interest in crypto is down at least 60% or so from January’s peak.. if you’re still sticking around and learning, you’re in the minority and I think you’ll be rewarded.’
Why do we think this is true? Because it already happened. Back in 2013-14, we experienced exactly the same as we just did in 2017, albeit at an order of magnitude lower interest and prices. But we stuck around, and we kept learning. So did a handful of other guys, when the get-rich-quick crew and the guys who couldn’t be bothered to stay the course evaporated.
A lot of the people who made it through 2014 are still around now, and they made it big with the knowledge, experience and crypto they accumulated in that punishing time. Some of them are leading some of the largest crypto initiatives in the world. (We helped some of them get to launch.)
Bottom line, if you’ve got the guts and foresight to keep your head when everyone else is panicking, and to know that this is the time when fortunes, careers and lives are made: congratulations. You figured out something that at least 95% of the world never does. There’s a good chance you will play some small or maybe not-so-small role in the future of blockchain. Good luck!

The main thing that keeps people "ahead of the curve" in profit-making/taking is your level of self-education about the space which is going to be occupied in the future. I think the more important question would be do YOU think it has a bright future? Crypto in my view IS the future, what Bitcoins role in that will be is yet to be determined i think.

With all the fud these days, its nice to see others who share the same vision, and are participating in this space for more than just getting rich. Of course, we all hope to become very wealthy, but some of us, those at the core of this space, want to do much more than accumulate wealth... I agree with you logic and post like this contribute to the overall optimism of the technology that has the potential to change all of our futures. Everyone wishes they invested when BTC was under a dollar, now they ignore that their is still potential for gains given that they can only afford a small percent. Any percent is a solid investment in a revolutionary technology in my opinion. Keep up the optimism!
Right now its manipulation and and big time money playing with the little guys money seeing how much they can take out the early small time adopters pockets. In order to move forward regulations must come in play as well as big institutional money.

I feel that we have seen a huge amount of people dump their crypto over the past few weeks. Why? Perhaps because of this elongated dip, but also it is likely that tax time has effected many and people are selling off some of their holdings to pay their taxes! Next week when Tax Day has come and gone, I wonder if we are going to see a lot of people buying back their sold assets! Thanks for the info and post.- Respect

Wer kann sich noch an die Zeit erinnern, als man das Internet mit dem Modem verbinden musste und es ewig dauerte eine Seite aufzurufen und dazu hatte mein Modem immer merkwürdige Geräusche gemacht. Und genau dort stehen wir mit der Blockchain-Technologie und den Cryptowährungen.

Exactly my friend! That's why there's survival of the fittest. How can the dead be rewarded right? it's same as crypto. How can those scared cats be rewarded when they're not on the same ship.

We are still early adopters. Look back in 5 years and we will all be amazing at how integrated the blockchain is our day to day activities. Think about how the Internet has changed things.
