Hey everyone, sorry for the silence over the holidays.

Bitcoin $20,000…then $11,000…many tears have been shed and many pockets have gotten fatter.

With all the new laws and crazy ups and downs I needed to take a step back and take a look at some new coins and gather some information. 

Basically we can throw most of 2017 out of the window, when it comes to talking about 2018.

So let’s go over some good looking coins while we kick off this New Year!

     1. XVG – I really like what they are doing, the wraith protocol can’t be an easy task. 

Don’t know what wraith protocol is? Wraith protocol will allow you to choose if your transactions on the blockchain are private or public. Again can’t be easy, but we have faith and you have many followers Verge

     2. XEM – A non-profit foundation that accepts votes for changes to their project with their blockchain. Talk about decentralized and putting the power in the people’s hands. But doesn’t that make sense in a way, if we the people are using the product shouldn’t we have a say in building it into a masterpiece?

     3. VOX – Onto a more “fun” coin, you could say. Voxuels is a virtual reality company that has shown massive growth, not only on the charts but in their product as well. They offer a platform for anyone to create a game world for others to join, which runs on the blockchain. You can use the VOX coins to purchase different items for your world. Sadly, I have not played around with the platform yet but plan on getting a VR helmet real soon to test out the game play.   

These next two coins I put together for a few reasons

· They are both Marijuana coins

· They have both shown massive growth in the past month

· They both have innovative ideas for the marijuana community

· Recreational Use was legalized in all of California January 1, 2018

· Mexico is pushing closer and closer to legalization 

What does this mean for these coins, basically this means that these coins will be shown a lot of attention. It also means they will be introducing a whole new market to the CryptoVerse.

     4. DOPE – In late December they dropped their Smoke Exchange, which allows dispensaries as well as any other company using hemp to produce a product, to advertise for their businesses. More towards the end of December, a few days ago, they dropped their Crypto Billings. This allows dispensaries to safely and securely take payment on the blockchain. Huge News!

     5. CANN – A mineable coin and another cryptocurrency that allows customers to purchase items from a dispensary or other shops that choose to accept the currency. If you visit their site(<<LINK) they have a video of their mobile app being used to purchase at a dispensary. 

Pretty cool stuff happening in the crypto verse...moving on.

     6. ADA – Yes ADA made this list. 

Why is this not on your long hold list?!?!?

Simple, I just found ADA. I really have not done much research for myself on the coin, this has been one of those coins that I have slowly invested in based on others opinions. BUT!

I did some of my own research before this write up, don’t worry I wouldn’t come in here completely blind

ADA does have some revolutionary ideas, they went ahead and created their own Proof of Stake algorithm called, Ouroboros. They plan to protect privacy rights of users, but they also want to keep in mind the needs of regulators. ADA or Cardano is now the first protocol to bring equal balance to both sides. Did I forget to mention, Vitalik Buterin is heavily involved with this project. (The creator of ETH)

Big News for the New Year! The Year of the HodL!   

As this list has changed over the past week or so, as did my definite holds for 2018. That list coming next! I will leave the link here after.
