RE: Tone Vays: Former Wall St. Trader Show: Tone's MA #77 (Market Analysis) - Bitcoin's D-Day will Aug 1st be a Hard Fork. Market Overview, Bitcoin Q+A etc.

He also believes Steemit to be a scam, and revealed his ignorance about how blockchains work when he was thoroughly schooled in a debate with Dan and Ned. He's a Bitcoin maximalist who doesn't seem to understand that in order to progress beyond 10 minute block times and less than 10 transactions per second new approaches to blockchain tech are necessary.

Basically, he seems to think that anything that isn't Bitcoin or based on Bitcoin is a scam.

That being said, if you're analyzing Bitcoin's market performance and not the tech behind it, he's probably worth listening to.

I have heard and seen all that Tone has to say about Steemit etc as you say and that interview.

There is truth to what you say, right down to the fact he is one of the best analysts in the space on Bitcoin.

I dialogue with him regularly and he knows I am a Steemian. He has read more than one of my blogs and used some of the info.

I've found if you have differences on 3-4 things with someone, but common ground on 3-4 others, there is no need to throw out the common ground items.

It also allows you to build bridges on other issues in the future.

Building bridges is a good idea. I like your way of thinking. Maybe he'll eventually be on Steemit promoting it along with the others.

Time will tell.

He would do well on here for sure LOL.

I enjoy the r'ship I have with him. He sees my name and content, he uses what he likes, does not make fun of my views and we joke around.

I really like the guy on top of him just being blunt and always active teaching in the space.
