In an unregulated market, of course, it can reach anything.
However we haven't even seen the start of regulation.

ICOs will have to go through official registration procedures, IRS will ask anyone invested in crypto to file tax returns, and more.

The government will make sure that whatever crypto survives is not a volatile asset anymore, and they control the supply of money.

And they have to, because that's the only way crypto will get out of a speculative bubble and move into a sustainable asset that actually has a use in the world.

This is not to say I'm against crypto, I love the tech behind it, but do not believe even for one second that governments will allow for this volatility anymore.
