People who got into Bitcoin early tend to be people who support the ideological side of Bitcoin, and now many of them are rich. Of course the money is nice, but it was never just about the money for them. It's about building a better world - finding ways to create peaceful solutions, breaking down violent monopolies, and putting these key questions in the face of sworn patriots and government supporters: Do you want war - so much that you would pay for it out of your own pocket? Do you hate drug addicts so much that you would pay for their imprisonment? And, couldn't you find a more efficient form of charity than having the government spend 80% of your money on bureaucrats?
Bitcoin, and the technologies which it has given birth to, and the technologies that it has yet to give birth to, offer us a chance to cooperate in ways that weren't possible before, such as Sean's Outpost, an organisation providing food to hundreds of thousands of homeless people in Florida.
What more will we be able to achieve when as our money becomes more and more frictionless, with less barriers dividing us? What fascinating projects will the new rich invent and invest in to improve the lives of all of us? Time will tell.

The uprise of such ideas are taking over the world by storm as a whole bunch of the crypto currencies are rising in popularity. Can't wait to see where things will be at in even only a few years from now. Maybe we'll be Steemit millinaires!?! ;) Namaste :)
Great post. What will they invest in next? I imagine many more of these coin startups that keep the ideological faith.
Someone could write an atlas shrugged type novel about this.
wouldn't that be somethin!
You're getting me all excited!
Haha great. It seems to be getting more real every hour... at least for these last couple of weeks.
I love the ideological side. Anabell and I are friends with many of the pioneers and they really are great people who want to see the world flourish without being encumbered by government and central banks.
Thanks Randy. It almost seems like a bit of a fairy tale - good people getting rich and continuing to be good people, with much less pressure to be bad that regular rich people have. Exciting!
