Bitcoin Unlimited Adds "Double Spend Relay"

The popular bitcoin node software Bitcoin Unlimited has added a controversial feature to relay all attempts to re-spend the same coins through a conflicting transaction. This is both good and bad news for merchants, as the change may introduce some additional risk.

When I first came to cryptoland many years ago I watch a video by Andreas Antonopoulos who started Bitcoin was almost (and certainly not profitable) to double spend. So why are we talking about this to date? Was he laying to use?

An actual double-spend attack is indeed relatively rare, but I think there's still room for discussion on how to improve the trustworthiness of zero-conf transactions.
