Microsoft uses bitcoin flash network to build identity authentication system.

Microsoft, the world's sixth largest IT company, announced its block - based distributed identity system at the consensus conference, which was used to monitor encrypted money and the stock market.

The news may be particularly inspiring for bitcoin, because Microsoft developers suggest they use real bitcoin chains to build platforms.

Distributed identity identification system

Although Bill Gate, the founder of Microsoft, bluntly criticizes the encrypted currency as "nonsense," the company still chooses to enter the area of the block chain in order to promote its authentication procedure.

AnkurPatel, the chief project manager of Microsoft's identity verification project group, is the leader of the project, which explains how important the project is for people and how block chain technology will provide an easy to use identity to fully control data access and use.

"In order to achieve this vision, we believe that it is essential for individuals to own and control their digital identity. Individuals need a secure encrypted digital center where they can store their identity data and easily control access to it, instead of authorizing innumerable applications and services by default and allowing their identity data to spread across a large number of providers.

The purpose of developing distributed identity recognition system by Patel is to acquire and control its identity through the privacy system established in the initial stage. Microsoft's project hopes that trust comes from individuals and communities rather than authentication and access management from traditional identity systems.

The company has begun to participate in the establishment of a distributed identity base (DIF) to build a distributed identification ecosystem based on standard open source technologies, algorithms, and reference data. Patel said his team is collaborating in developing distributed identifier (DID), identification center, universal DID parser and verifiable certificate.

Patel says that the team needs the underlying technology to run the scale like a traditional system, but in some block chain communities, the network's distributed state has declined as the amount of the chain increases, resulting in the failure to achieve millions of transactions per second.

To overcome these technical barriers, Microsoft is "running a distributed second layer algorithm protocol on these common block chains to achieve global volume of transactions, while maintaining the properties of the world class DID system." Through this statement, the bitcoin community on social media Reddit suspects Microsoft may use bitcoin flash networks to build identity recognition systems.
