As we see signs of the year-long crypto bear market finally coming to an end, and the potential for traders to be able to make strong gains in 2019 looking more and more likely, we take a look at which exchanges have the most cost-effective fee structures throughout global crypto-asset markets.

It’s no secret that these trading platforms have grown large followings in no small part by providing lower fees for traders, whilst also maintaining vastly superior services.

Savvy traders enjoy larger profit margins and the ability to implement strategies which are highly sensitive to fee amounts per trade, such as advanced high-frequency trading methods like arbitrage and market making.

But while this is certainly true for algorithmic cryptocurrency traders, even the bulk of cryptocurrency traders who manually execute strategies without the help of algorithms, benefit significantly over the long-term by seeking out and exploiting providers that have lower fees within the market.

Binance

Binance is a popular crypto exchange, which launched its own native cryptocurrency, BNB, in 2018.

The platform provides one of the lowest fee structures in the industry of 0.1% of the value of all trades made, which is then reduced by a further 0.025% down to 0.075% if payment for trades is made in BNB.

Prime XBT

PrimeXBT is a newer trading platform that provides traders with advanced features such as leveraging at rates up to 100x, shorting on all major cryptocurrencies, and some of the highest liquidity in the industry as a result of aggregating the liquidity of a dozen different providers in one place.

PrimeXBT also provides the lowest fees of any top-tier exchange, with a flat fee of 0.05% across all trades.

HitBTC

HitBTC has been serving crypto traders since 2014, and lists a wide range of different coins and tokens. Some controversy has surrounded the exchange with reports of amounts of crypto-assets allegedly being removed from accounts.

While we cannot confirm or deny this, we can confirm that HitBTC has one of the lower fee structures in the market with a flat rate of 0.01% across all trades.

Even though there is much more to successfully trading cryptocurrencies than just getting low fees, it certainly helps to open up new trading strategies and to maximize profit margins.

. . .

While these 3 platforms provide the lowest fees for crypto traders, what’s most interesting is their ability to also maintain levels of service and powerful features which are also worth mentioning in their own right.

When trading, researching all options to understand them better and experimenting with platforms to find ways to increase profit, helps in the long run to develop and continually execute successful strategies.
