Right now Bitcoin is hovering around $14,500 but I wouldn't expect to see these low prices too much longer.
I think Bitcoin is poised for another breakout and another all-time high within 2-3 weeks. We will finally see $20,000 next and maybe even $25,000, in my opinion.
While I do think Ethereum will pass Bitcoin in terms of total market cap within 9-12 month, Bitcoin is still King for now, and even if it does get passed, that doesn't mean that there isn't still growth potential left.
I think we will definitely see a $1 Trillion Dollar market cap for Bitcoin one day and that would put the price somewhere around $70k a piece.
I believe that the continuing rise in the price of Bitcoin will continue to be a catalyst for people that want to buy and hold. That along with the fact that many new people are jumping into crypto should sustain it's growth for at least a couple more years.
The volatility will likely continue until it has surpassed the $1 Trillion Dollar market cap, and then it will slow.

Short term wise I believe it will revisit it's all time high multiple times, but to whether it will reach 1 trillion market cap I guess it depends on how fast alt coins perform.
