Thank you for your advice! It's very useful. Do you have a video about wallets? You said the best one is an offline harware wallet. I am trying to choose a wallet and it's very confusing.
The regular Trezor is awesome. I do have a video about it. It's east to use and easier to set up than a printer for your laptop.

I have been holding 5 BTC since the price was $295 and now selling them at $5300/btc its a good profit I think

Thanks for watching. You know I just want to give newbies reassurance that this will all recover and go much higher. I could care less what the price of Steem it right now, I just want to steady accumulate for the next 1000 days and I'm sure it's gonna be multiple higher than it's ever been.
This whole crypto world is new for all. The Dimon fud was well played by him to get in. I (in hindsight) should have stuck to the big 3 instead of playing the ico game. I'm just going to hodl them and hopefully longturn, they'll turn around. As many have said, you haven't lost anything until you sell. Thanks for helping keep the Steem engine moving forward.

Been buying cryptos since about 2012 myself....HODL is the best advice I can give!
Seriously, one of the better videos about crypto mentality. I go back and forth on diversifying to precious metals with the gains or letting it ride. I tend to shave a bit of the profit to gold and silver just so that I am happy when it keeps going up and feel more balanced if it takes a big drop.
Are you switching over any to metals?
I feel like everything you're saying is correct and we should invest long term , that's where the money is at . Often I get impatient or keep seeing it fall and want out on it but I know this is the fall period and we will soon see rise again . There will be the legends and the big money people joining soon and that's when it will all rise out of awareness

Stellar advice @broncnutz - I kick myself often for unloading BTC a few years ago, taking my eye off the ball for a year or so, and buying crap on Amazon using 'purse' 'cause I thought I was getting great deals. Now when I look at some of those $150 dollar purchases, it's hard not to think each one cost me $5400 (at the time of writing) :/ Anyway, no regrets, we live and learn. Steem on!

Nice advice. BTC is killing it so I have to admit I knew this was coming so I sold a few alts that I felt were expendable and put it into BTC awhile back. I feel like it was a good move since BTC is $5500+ currently. I did keep most of my alt coins that I plan to add and hold them long term. I will be buying and holding Steem for sure. It can be done for sure, I have friends who have done it but I myself have not. Most of them just watched videos on YouTube on the process and learned that way. Send a small amount for your first few transactions. π€

because of those big waves in bitcoin price along the last 2 years, now it seems to me a controllable coin that have big whales controlling it like steemit but not uncontrollable as I was thinking
Bitcoin is spread way too much around the glob for the powers that be to control it right now. They will control it someday for sure but the time between now and then should make for really nice gains for everyone who just holds. Hold for 3 more years minimum. Did you see my new hats????? π€π

Just watched the whole video, great advice and that is exactly what I try to do. But I'm a student on a low budget so I decided to stick with steem and get as much as I can. Started 3 moths ago and I think of steemit as a 5-10 year investment. Would also love to get my hands on some cheap BTC on the falls but as I said... student on a budget :(

Your curation rewards are based on your upvote in relation to the amount of money the post made. Mine are nice % because I have powered up 65,000 Steem. I think lending at 30% is a awesome but you can never lend all of it or even most of it if you want your blog to grow. My upvote is essentially "minnow food" which is exactly why your here and why I upvoted this comment. If I have it all delegated for 30% I have nothing to give you! For Steemit to work people can't be selfish. You must pick and choose where you will spend your votes. You must help other minnows. It's all an ecosystem Cousin!!!!! ππππ Just keep at it on the slow grind and you gonna win big in 10 years....trust me.
