Bitcoin has been growing at a rapid rate over these past few months. A lot of people are asking me if it's still worth it to get in on the action. I'll try to present two investment scenarios and analyze them both.

Great analysis. Bitcoin is definitely a long term investment and is VERY risky in the short term. I always assign %60-70 of my portfolio to Bitcoin, for long term holding. I use the rest of my money on riskier investments.
"Bitcoin is definitely a long term investment"
How do you know?
If you look at the general trend in Bitcoin price since its inception, the general trend is an upward trend. However, in the short term, the price is volatile and there are many crashes. But in the long run, the price always recovers...
Just followed you on my new account @surprisebit ! I lost access to my old one @surpriseattack
I believe it is for the longer term.
I think the growth in bitcoin is a reflection on the real economy. Values are going up because inflation is also going up in the real world but hidden from us. That is why bitcoin is going up because it is a hedge against inflation.
interesting view and true to a certain extent. but if world inflation is at 300% in 3 months, We would have to take a loan to eat mc donalds :D
Yes, that 's what happen in the Ukraine and Venezuela. Look at Zimbabwe as well.
