Thanks for sharing your insights. Yeah, I'm hodling as well. Back around this time last year Vinny Lingus's fud scared me so bad that I sold half my bitcoins. If we get a nice price drop I may be able to replace more of those bitcoins than I've managed buy back in the last 12 months.
My reason for getting into bitcoins is the crazy conventional financial system and how it tends to yank the rug out from everyone every 7 to 10 years. When banks and brokerages start failing, the value of monitary assets that can be held outside of a brokerage or bank tend to do very well. I made a handsome profit on silver during the 2008 recession and I expect to enjoy a nice profit on bitcoin during the next big financial implosion. I should see some nice gains in the silver I still own as well. My house is going to tank in value of course but I think my gains in bitcoin will vastly outweigh the loss of value in my house.
