As Bitcoin was poised for new and amazing heights, a surprise happened. The Chinese Yuan surged. Because of this, the price of Bitcoin dropped like a rock. But, unlike 2 years ago, it only fell about $300-$250. With far more people using Bitcoin around the world than 2 years ago, and various countries using it to save their economies, Bitcoin rebounded and stabilized at around $1000 (down from a high of about $1170). I'm sure that the roller coaster ride isn't over, but I doubt we'll see it drop much farther. I feel that it will stabilize over the next few days, and early next week, we'll see it start to rise again.
An exert:
"Current trading volume is 37x of that in 2013 and bitcoin price fluctuates 15.95%, which is much more stable than the year 2013."
