"Lost coins only make everyone else's worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation"
I have never lost any coins I've owned but reading some of the stories of private keys being lost, old hard drives been thrown out with hundreads of bitcoin on them I can only imagine a few people on here may have lost some.
Have you lost Bitcoins?
How much and how did it happen?
What happens to lost Bitcoin?
Well.......
If you have lost Bitcoin I bet now no matter how worthless some of the coins your holding, it will never happen to you again!
Not yet...
good
My housemate have..i can only imagine how she feels. She's starting to buy again :)
A lesson learnt id say!
that right
Yes..but still..i feel for her.
I hope not ever :)
Could you imagine if you did!!
no...I not want :)))
Not yet happened to me, but I read there is more than 1 billion USD lost/burned because of lost bitcoins, which is a lot of money...

I really encourage everyone to think hard and long about how to store your bitcoins securely :)
Yes, I would treat them like gold more then gold their worth more!
I have, but it was a tiny insignificant amount that I got from a faucet in some ancient history when I was playing around with bitcoin :)
A faucet a log time a go could have given quite a bit in today's terms
Possibly, there were quite a number of leading zeroes after the decimal though. Think it was barely a few cents worth if that. Perhaps it's a couple of dollars now :)
Not the worst to lose anyway!
It makes me wonder in comparison, how much paper USD is lost ?
