Airline Peach Aviation, the largest low-coster in the Japanese market, is working on the introduction of Bitcoin into the payment system.

In connection with the recent hacking of the Japanese currency exchange Coincheck, the media began to spread information that the company is going to postpone the introduction of digital currency.

In response to these reports, a spokesman for Peach Aviation said that the company is currently reviewing the launch of the service again. This decision was made due to fluctuations in the value of Bitcoin, which has been increasing since the end of last year.

Peach Aviation denied the rejection of Bitcoin
She noted that Peach Aviation still wants to add the digital currency as a payment instrument, however, while they are waiting for a market settlement. In addition, the company denies all reports of a rejection of its intentions.

Bitpoint Japan, cooperating with Peach Aviation, also issued a statement that they are "diligently engaged in development" and will report on the timing of the launch of the service as soon as it is completed, informs Bitcoin.com.
