    Bitcoin (BTC) is the slowest network, least reliable and most expensive to use, but people expect it to continue to have the top spot despite these problems. They have various justifications for this such as "store of value", but it's getting a bit beyond the comic scope to go into that.

    thank you for ur explanation.. I have heard bitcoin is slow and expensive and all but most alt coins only have pairs with btc.. so I guess ppl will still buy btc..?

      There are more and more pairs allowing you to buy altcoins without ever touching BTC.
