BTC has seemed fairly flat recently.

To me, anyway.

I'm not watching the market quite so hawkishly as some, of course. Nevertheless I am, from time to time, compelled to search the latest Bitcoin exchange rate. It's sometimes even immediately relevant to the situation I have at hand.

Still there are just as surely those who are less aware of those fluctuations than I. Many people I know have probably never been curious enough. Perhaps more importantly though, they don't own any cryptocurrency. Some do though, and far more than I. Making nonzero investiture has it's way of bringing motivation.

What do you think?

What kinds of Bitcoin value changes have you noticed recently?
By recently I mean in the past few months or so, but I'd be curious to hear about any scale you like. You're part of a self selecting group for sure, but if anything that could yield more detailed, nuanced perspectives in this case.

Feels pretty flat to me, like I said.

With all the action that's been going on around the world it's interesting to me how steady the markets have been. Seems to not have been more than about a 15% range of dips and spikes. Though I know even less about stocks, my perception is that they're manic-depressive these days. Gigantic downs, and big ups too. We're getting historic numbers all over the place, and a global crisis is ongoing but still Bitcoin's been relatively stable. I've not caught a ton of huge moves, but maybe I'm just not paying attention.

If you aren’t trading, it really doesn’t matter. Especially, if you aren’t in need to liquidate assets to survive.

The only thing you’d have to keep an eye on is the volatility for things like 401K to mitigate heavy losses.

I think it could matter somewhat to the hodler, or at least those looking to accumulate. I know I'd rather stack during a dip, even if I don't plan on doing anything with it for the foreseeable future. In any case, it can be nice to have a finger on the pulse of your assets so to speak.

Is this a stand in for a nonexistent perception of recent moves, or is your perspective a secret?

And yes to buy the dip if you wish to accumulate.

Otherwise, it just doesn’t seem to be worth the effort to watch paint dry.

I hear you.
