It's simple Liz, Steemit rewards you for commenting, for publishing and all the activities we do on the platform with a Badge. It is a trophy that we receive in the comments and there is a part where you can find them all, but it does not give one for birthdays and anniversaries on the platform and I would like to receive one with my name. I know that many people would like it.
That really does seem like a good idea, but how does steemit know, when your birthday is??
The same way that Facebook knows my dear friend @lizanomadsoul, by registration.
