Honda shine sp has rolled up in the market its new 125cc commuter bike to increase the company’s shine i.e. Honda CB Shine SP. This bike is based on its basic Shine model and is introduced in the market to target consumers who want more performance and added fuel efficiency of 65 kmpl. This bike has some more exciting features as compared to its ancestral model. As the bikes names suggest ‘SP’ which stands for ‘Special’, the bike has got an addition of a fifth gear with ### new styling in the motorcycle. The fuel tank, the fairing and the tail panel of the bike are adorned with fresh graphics which increases the beauty of the bike. The bike looks more attractive with the contrast silver paint job which has been given to the side covers. The pillion grab handle is new which is covered with a soft PVC material allowing a comfortable hold to the pillion.
**> **Shine SP is powered by a 124.73 cc four stroke, air- cooled engine, identical to the older shine, which can easily produce a power output of 10.57 bhp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. The Honda’s engine has the capability to give a smooth ride without a hint of strain felt even on pushing it hard. There is a major change in the transmission section as the power is sent to the wheel through five- speed gearbox. The addition of the fifth gear is given to improve the smoothness while riding the bike. There is a change in the wheelbase side too which includes a longer wheelbase to have an improved overall stability.
