RE: Bid.Bot Service Shutdown Notice - Bid.Bot For Sale

in #bidbot6 years ago (edited)

Damn, I was wondering why I have a post with just 2 magic credits from 9/7 which was never upvoted and still sitting in "Delivering" status. I just dropped a nice 50 credit post request in yesterday and saw nothing happening, so I decided to come here and see what was wrong. Usually, I would see the bot start to use at least one other bot by the next day.

Do you want to just reverse the transaction or do you want to ride out through the 30 days with it to see what happens? Since you didn't process 2 magic credit post from 9/7, I don't see how you can say to people to use their magic credits before the end of the month. My post from 9/7 never even got processed and that was for 2 magic credits. It is still in "delivering status".

I don't need 50 or 52 magic credits back. I can't possibly use that many, with a limit of using 1 or 2 per post in the next 23 days, especially if they are not going to be voted with anyway. Please advise @bid.bot - I would not have placed such a 50 SBD post request in if I knew you were shutting down. Perhaps you should modify the web site itself to let people know this, when they go to login? I had delegated 200SP to you and was an early adopter and near daily user of this bot for most of its life. I think it feels a little disappointing that there wasn't at least a notice on bidbot.me/dashboard that the service is shutting down.

Best of luck to you. I did get quite a bit of votes and help from you. You had a great concept that made it easy for me. I didn't have to watch steembottracker like I was watching a stock ticker to find the best bot to place bids with. I liked the fact that this bot would work around the clock and find the times to bid when it was least busy to get them into the other bots. That was some good automation and scripting there, taking advantage of time of day and volume and such.

Here is my outstanding activity. I just put that 50SP request in there last night. I was hoping to see a nice return or at least an equal return on that being that I have been less active for the past few weeks.

Ok, I see no one has replied to me @bid.bot - I would appreciate some sort of reply. My 2 magic credits were upvoted to my posting from 9/5. They were upvoted on 9/13 with a $0.00 upvote. What was the point of that? Just to clear out the system? That is kinda lousy. It is past the point of where those 2 magic credits will not count towards anything for me, and it was upvoted at 100% anyway with $0.00. This was the post:

I am holding my breath in hopes that my post request for with 50 credits actually uses the 50 credits. So far I have 20 credits of the 50 spoken for. I did choose "slow" because it was always the most effective method for me. I hope the same holds true for this final request. How about you throw those 2 useless magic credits onto my active post that can actually receive rewards instead of a $0.00 100% upvote on an 8 day old post? Here is where I am at with the other post with the 50 credits requested to be applied to it on the bid.bot/dashboard:

I appreciate your giving people notice and letting things run down for 30 days. I just wish this was on the actual web site where you buy credits. Why would I have bought 50 credits for something that I have to hope will make good on its word? I had a post with just 2 magic credits and 8 days later, it uses them for $0.00 at 100%. This is a puzzling resolution.
