My Miracle Money Story
I believe in Miracles !
I mean raw miracles .This is so because I believe in God!
To His glory I have seen and do see and will keep seeing thousands of it in meetings and off it .
Majorly healing miracles and acts of power .
But don't let me distract this post .
But am concerned and disturbed about miracles .
Not the bible miracles but anything miracles .
This concern is for younger ministers who seem to want to follow anyone into the ditch.
There are several things that are used to scam these days
I know of churches with very genuine works of power ,many like that
However ,there are a few bad apples who arrange scams and even train members to attest to it .
One of such frauds is the miracle money testimony .
This miracle goes thus
The anointed man of God declares over your life and money appears in your wallet ,pocket or bank account .
Now let me share my story years ago at a program in ogbomosho preaching for a friend ( he's reading this I believe ) we had diverse demonstrations of Gods power that week including blind eyes opened ,insane set free ,deaf ears unstopped etc
However one testimony stood out.
Three folks claimed they saw money mysteriously or say miraculously ? In different places ,wallets ,cupboards etc
We were excited ! overwhelmed that same things happening in some Big men of Gods meetings were now happening in ours .
This is usually the ambition of youthful ministers ,duplicate and surpass the ones ahead of you .
Two weeks later ,I experienced this same " miracle" when I suddenly found monies in my jacket which I believed was " dropped by an angel "
Again I shared the testimony with brethren and they hailed the glory of God upon my life .
However ,somehow my cousin after much ado told me two days or so after ,the money was his .I found out it was his .
The sad part was he stood by and watched me take the money and overheard my brother share the testimony .
He left me with two painful but truthful observations .
1)Didn't I have enough sense to see that money can't be produced by miracles since it's a legal tender,hence it had to belong to someone with rights granted by the issuer

secondly and more painfully ,why didn't I even bother to find the owner ,hence my attitude was less than Christian !
I was glad he rebuked me personally ,as he respected my ministry but cautioned me not to join charlatans .btw ,he believed in miracles and I still ministered to him almost ten years after the incidence .
I was too ashamed to tell my congregation this was a ruse .
Money must belong to someone and must be issued legally .
It thus became clear to me that either the Ogbomosho testifiers were naive or excited to think like me or just plain scammed us .
I have enquired from those who believe in these miracles these same issues but like the thick cloud of error they hardly bulge .
False doctrines often come with evil spirits no matter how anointed you are .
I digress
I was trained to believe and respect scriptures ,I endeavor to tell others the same .
The only verse of scriptures I have been given and by the way ,most deep errors are developed by a verse or statement in scriptures without corresponding texts elsewhere !
The verse I was given was
Matthew 17:27 KJV
[27] Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
The background isn't fuzzy .
Matthew 17:24-26 KJV
[24] And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
25] He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? [
26] Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
Did Jesus pay tax in this instance ? No records.
Did Peter did catch the fish ? No records .
We have another instance in Matthew 22 that was very clear and no fish was involved .
Now two scenarios present itself here
Either Jesus's money was missing or deliberately thrown into the whales mouth hence the instruction or the Instruction was a figure of speech
Just like every legal tender ,money was minted by the government ( Caesar )and had its insignia .
Issued to another person for exchange of value or worth .
So if truly money was involved ,using it to pay tax was stealing or conversion as it's specifically for someone .
The danger in error is the proponents will keep creating scenarios .
What about mount Moriah ,manna etc
They are so blinded to know the difference .
Money is different !
Same way you can't show up with miracle Mercedes Benz not made by Benz ,or sold via its agents ,you might have much explaining to do to the authorities .
Or a miracle house ,just built on a miracle land just acquired mysteriously by no body and its yours etc
Unlike natural things like food ,animals ,this is a legal document !
Deuteronomy 5:21 KJV
[21] Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.
It's stealing
Acts 20:33 KJV
[33] I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
Covetousness .
Ephesians 4:28 KJV
[28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Some claim money was mysteriously paid Into their bank accounts .
If u are decent enough you should know the bank will know .
I once had millions of Naira paid into my company account ,even though I really needed money I called the bank and found the error .
They were glad as someone would have lost her job .
I told them I am a Christian we don't do such .
The most intriguing about these phony tales is that the amount " appearing " in the wallets are insignificant ( 1000,2000 etc) hence no need for law enforcements agents to review ( hope you get my drift)
The more the proponents try to make it look like " you are a doubter of miracles " the more demonic they sound
I will cite a few .
One major proponent on international tv was asked same questions I posed here as to Money being a legal tender ,rather than be truthful he said " yes they sure belong to someone but angels often rescue monies in fire accidents,air crashes ,car accidents etc and deliver to saints "
It doesn't get more ridiculous does it ?
Another said " do u believe in ritual money " if u do ,then believe our God can surpass satan and use the blood rituals of His son to make money for us "
Such things make you throw up and you want to cuss!
Younger minsters must not go into this ditch !
Bro Hagin ,a man who I listen to more about money than all other ministers put together wrote a book " Midas Touch " I advise all to read it and not discard as many ministers have done .
He warned about money .
Be careful for and about it .
Stay with scriptures .
Don't propagate scams .
There's no unbelief in investigating miracles .Not all.
If you see money in your account as a good Christian call your bank ,more so you might be guilty of money laundering !
Also if you see money in your wallet , tell the " angel " to return to the owner or you go to the police to report missing and found goods .
Go for miracles ,contend for the supernatural but be careful not to start brandishing lying wonders as Gods power !

Sharpen your discernment .
Stay with scriptures and watch those you follow or listen to
