Forgiveness

in #bible7 years ago

I've shared this sometime ago, but I want to share it again. Please read and allow the Holy Spirit speaks to you.

RISK WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MEET JESUS, JESUS SAVES.
This story was told --- a true life story of a man of God traveling on his motorcycle for a crusade, together with his wife and his two sons. Some where along their journey, they fell into a bulldozer ( tractor)-- his wife and his sons died but miraculously he survived the accident. Due to tragedy that happened to him, he developed a grudge against Jesus because he was faithful in all that he did. This man stopped going to Church because although he was committed but yet God permitted such tragedy to befall him.

He continued in this attitude for a long time until a certain day, while he was thinking on the tragedy, his two young sons walked into his sitting room--- he was surprised to see them. And at this point they boys told him that God gave them an opportunity to come to him so he would know that God was not responsible for the tragedy.

And then he asked his sons--- where is mummy? She is the one to tell me all these the man said. They boys told him " mummy didn't make it". Mum has been in unforgiveness for a long time, she refused to forgive a sister in Church over three years. So because of her not willing to forgive others, God did not forgive her of her wrong doings. She did not make it to heaven.
LESSON TO LEARN
Risk whatever it takes you to make it to heaven. Life on Earth is too short to gamble with, there are things that have the ability to take people to hell. God does not want anyone to go to hell-- that's why He gives us opportunities to get right the things that are wrong. Let us do away with those things we know can deprive us from partaking in the glory of heaven. , let us do away with those things we know are a clear threat to our salvation in Jesus Christ-- it may be sin, it not necessarily be sin, it may be unforgiveness- these things will make you pay more than you expected. Forgive people who offend you.
Let us pray
Lord thank you for your word today, we approach you by the blood of Jesus. We ask this day for forgiveness of sins-- have mercy upon us. We pray that you rid us of anything that will hinder us from partaking in your kingdom. Cleanse our lives, let your will be done in our lives. We present our bodies to you as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable so you will be glorified now and forever. Amen
