The Polish Winter

in #bialowieska7 years ago (edited)

I dunno why, but I love Polish winter. I live in eastern Poland near Russia and Belarus border and It's almost always, that winters are very cold. I live surrounded by deep forests, including Białowierza forest - the oldest on the European continent. _DSC7625.JPG

I will try, to bring you the images, of that magical place, I live in, with some of my photos I've took during my many voyages deep into the Białowieska, Augustowska czy Knyszyńska forests. _DSC7831.JPG

The picture above, was made near Międzyrzecze town. You can see frozen river and a little further, a lake with a dam, built by beavers.

Deep inside, there are multiple small towns, of like 2-5 houses. They are connected with each other, with small roads, deep within the woods.
