A lot of cryptocurrencies get hyped up. Bitcoin got in early and grabbed most of the market. Doesn't mean it's the best technology. Others will come out with innovations, but they will struggle to get adoption. It's hard for users to know how good the tech is and if they are being exploited. It's pretty much the wild west for now

That's now. Governments are already toying with blockchain technology and soon they're going to regulate the crap out of it even more. They're going to demand you use theirs, and if you don't your an outlaw.
It's going to be interesting to see how they will try to regulate and tax other currencies. This is all relatively new and I think everyone is still exploring what is possible. We live in interesting times
