Beyond Bitcoin hangouts enable everyone's voice to be heard--Steemit lets the community vote on our Top Guests!
I have decided to extend this trial run for announcing hangouts in a way that gives everyone an incentive to promote our events and themselves, their projects and alliances that germinate in this very hangout community. So until further notice if you want to be covered in beyond bitcoin hangouts in any serious way, we will be asking for you to upvote this post, RSVP and give upvotes to other projects/topics you find valuable.
How to get Coverage of your Project: Leverage Your Community!
Post to this and future Hangout Announcements telling us if you are going to be there and what project/topic you would like to cover with the Beyond Bitcoin Community. The highest voted project/topics at the start of the hangout every Friday @ 10am EST will be covered first, followed 2nd highest, 3rd highest...etc in sequence from highest to lowest.
How much time will we have?
Hangouts will be at least 45 minutes long, but depending on attendance and projects/topics to be covered may last up to 2 hours. Given this, we will try to be as flexible with guest speakers as possible, but will be forced to limit the number covered in any hangout to 5. This should enable us to at let people speak/take questions for 25-30 minutes each.
Is coverage all I get?
No. You also get the opportunity to post links relevant to your projects, steemit posts/updates about your project and have those links posted to soundcloud and the steemit thread where the hangout is posted.
We might even be willing to promote good projects we cover on twitter and steemit!
Is any topic off Limits?
Yes. We reserve the right to learn from the newest trickster trolling steemit consistently searching for way to insert chaos into the equation and devise future strategies for negating these. Naturally if these efforts become ham-fisted attempts at shutting down free speech in honest conversations, the audience will hold us accountable.
But with that said....pretty much anything can be covered--even up to and including current events. However, I personally will only be voting up stories that touch the blockchain in some way shape or form and will be asking the community to downvote absolute Rubbish! ;)

Thanks for letting us know. And thanks for dropping by to say hi man.
Looking forward to talking to you about cryptocurrency's role in the creation of skynet (but only to keep helpful robots redundantly coordinated, of course) :D
signed up and ready to listen! lets do this.
Are you a veteran or new to cryptocurrency and blockchain tech?
2013
May come :)
Thanks for blanket spamming tons of telegram groups. It is a great way for people to learn about steemit and how to promote steemit in order to get the max ammount of steemit upvoptes.
My apologies. I suspect although you do not know me you assume the wrong intentions. Also "blanket spamming" is a bit harsh.
If youd pay attention maybe you would see that the RSVP thread i send out actually distributes the SBD earned to those who represebt other crypto communities. Beyond bitcoin is specifically meant to give crypocommunities a voice without having to pay for coverage--then i took it a step further to pay out to them for providing transparent updates (precisely the opposite of your claims). Additionally I paid out of pocket for a long time to keep this in order and run it for so long and still set aside my SBD earned for open source project funding for steemit. Now that i can finally pay community representatives to provide updates on their project, i reach out to them with a steemit link informing them of the option to be covered. I do this in multiple communities telegrams so they know of this opportunity and people like you wish to troll. Go ahead man. Act like you have a clue about me and the merits of my character. Show those who know me how ignorant you are...I dont say this to be mean, its actually to help keep you from making a bad image for yourself so early.
Anyway, now that you have had your sneak attack on a person you know nothing about, I hope you consider not making yourself look worse. I assure you those who pay attention here will agree with me..because they know Ive already proven the implications of your complaints false multiple times...before you ever uttered your judgment.
