My friends have been scammed by "One Coin" a cryptocurrency ponzi scheme. Help!

A very nice husband and wife I know have put money into "One Coin" a "private" cryptocurrency that doesn't have a public blockchain!

The market cap for One Coin is listed as second only to Bitcoin on a crypto exchange called xcoinx...that doesn't make any trades. It is the only site that lists One Coin and looks like a fake exchange site set up only to lie about One Coin's market cap.

I have no idea how to help these people. They are focusing their lives on what looks like an elaborate Ponzi scheme. It is clearly multi-level marketing and has been flagged by several European governments.

How can I help them see the light?

Before I buy any new coin. I go to their public forum and see what the members are posting. Ask them question. I want to know if this coin has a good friendly/helpful committee.

Tell them they should make a background check before they invest next time.
Warnings are present on internet easily. Sad but true.

She just messaged me that "4 MIT professors just put $1 million in and China Union pay just got 5,000 cards to pay their workers and 2.5 million people worldwide bought in"

How can I disprove this crazy fiction that 2.5 million people are buying in to this?

the crypto currency world is just one big sci fi movie

tbh if she's that stupid.. She will just have to feel it before she learns.

oh shit that's definitely not good. first of all you have to show these people bitcoin and that its better to have trading value then to not have it teach them how that with bitcoin you make what you pay for instantly and securely these are the basics to any crypo currency and remember to never put it all on one horse thats just plain silly also... DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
